In a continued effort to promote literacy and expand access to engaging reading materials, the Library in- a -Box initiative has donated a diverse collection of books to the Success Book Club, a vibrant community of young readers in Nima- Mamobi, Accra.
The donation was received on behalf of the club by its Executive Director, Adam Mohammed Miftaahu, whose leadership has been pivotal in nurturing a love for reading and lifelong learning among youth.
In a brief but symbolic handover, representatives of the initiative presented a box of books along with a Library Record Book to help facilitators track borrowing, monitor reading habits, and support the club’s accountability and reporting. The donation adds to the club’s growing collection and supports its mission of nurturing a reading culture among children and young people. This took place on June 16, 2025, at the office of the Samira Empowerment & Humanitarian Projects (SEHP).
The moment was filled with warmth and shared purpose. For the Library in a Box team, this was yet another step toward bridging literacy gaps in schools and communities where access to books and reading materials are limited.
The Samira Empowerment & Humanitarian Projects(SEHP) is of the firm belief that books open the eyes to the imaginary and a window to the rest of the world. Through this donation, we are confident and hope to inspire curiosity and unlock opportunities for young minds across the country.
